Privacy policy

Effective date: October 2026. Company: NullDaily LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company.

This policy covers nulldaily.com and NullDaily accounts. Our self-hosted products run on your own hardware; we do not receive the files, photos, messages or servers you manage with them. Each product's site explains what it handles (for example license checks and update checks).

1. Information we collect

You give us: your email address, your name, your password (stored only as an Argon2id hash), an optional profile picture link, and the sign-in methods you add (authenticator app secret, passkey public keys, recovery codes stored as hashes).

Collected when you use your account: the IP address and browser of each device you sign in on, sign-in times, and a log of security events such as password changes and connected apps. When you link an app, we record which app and what you allowed it to see.

Not collected: we do not use analytics trackers or advertising cookies. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in and protect forms.

2. How we use it

• To run your account: sign-in, security, and sharing what you approve with apps you link.
• To email you about your account (confirming your address, resetting your password, security notices).
• To keep NullDaily safe, for example rate limits and investigating abuse.

3. Sharing

We do not sell, trade or rent your information. We share it only with apps you approve (and only what you approve), with service providers who help us run the service (such as email delivery), when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.

If you do not set a profile picture, your browser loads one from Gravatar using a hash of your email address.

4. Retention

We keep account data while your account exists. Expired sessions and used links are removed over time. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, sessions, sign-in methods and app connections right away; security log entries are kept without your identity for abuse prevention.

5. Your choices and rights

• Download a copy of your data from your account settings at any time.
• Correct your name, email and picture in your settings.
• Remove any connected app, or delete your account, from your settings.
• For anything else, email [email protected].

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information (see Security). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Children

NullDaily accounts are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. For significant changes we will email account holders.
